Chapter 13
~Uncle Tom, Ma's Brother comes for a short visit. They haven't seen any of their family for years and are eager to visit and chat and hear all the family news. Tom tells some very exciting stories, about the wild west and Indians, and gold. On Sunday, after church while Tom is visiting with the family, Laura goes out for the first buggy ride of the year with Almanzo and Cap and Mary Power. There will be many more buggy rides to come! |
